Life... with only four letters in the alphabets, speaks volumes to many different individuals. As for us, life is what God has given and what we make out of it in obedience to Jesus Christ! So live life to the full... life is indeed exciting!

Back again...

It's been a long time since I last blog. Well, for those who are not aware of the latest happenings in the Yong's Family life, this family is undergoing a major change... a move to be exact. A job transfer to KL was offered and now Daddy has moved to KL first to prepare the place for the rest of the Yongs.

Yup, I was busy with furnishing up the house and only now I manage to get some time to blog.

I'll keep this post short as I will need to borrow a mattress form my sister to lay my weary head/body! Tonight's the first night I have moved into our rented pad in KL. It's a double storey terrace house, very close to my sister. All is well albeit tired from the mopping, running around and assembling furnitures from Ikea. Tomorrow will be another Sunday where I will try to find my place of worship... I have worshipped at SIB KL and tomorrow will be at Damansara Utama Methodist Church (DUMC). Still seeking a place to worship but trusting God's hands to guide.

Ok, I will sign out now. Time to get my mattress.... Good night!

Playing in the sand

Last Sunday evening, we brought both Josh and Jess to the beach at Piasau Boat Club. Both of them enjoyed playing with the sand on the beach. They would dig, scoop, pour and make patterns on the sand. Mummy and Daddy were there to help too... it was a fun and relaxing evening.

Grandma's Birthday!

Yes, another birthday post! This time a day late (improving here!) so you may have guessed that my Mum is actually a Hari Kebangsaan baby. She was borned on the 31-Aug back in 1939. Same age as my Dad actually. Both were borned on the same year but on different months.

So Josh and Jess celebrated Grandma's birthday together with their 'Tua Pek' and Tua Em' (my brother and sister in-law). We had quite a gastronomical celebration. We started the celebration with lunch at Boulevard Restaurant. It was really fantastic as it was the unlimited lunch that we went for! Really worth the money we spent and made the birthday lunch celebration unique because everyone got to eat what they wanted. Nice idea eh?

Tua Em and Tua Pek enjoying the lunch!

After lunch, we had a good rest in the afternoon.. getting ready for yet another celebration; the cake and dinner! For dinner, the main dish was the Assam Fish Head Curry, which we ordered from Pujut 6. Lovely dish! We bought a home made cheese cake for our Mum. A simple cake but full of cream cheese amidst 3 layers of cheese cake. Everyone loved it!

The Birthday Cake... simple decor.

Busy removing the candles... ready for the cake cutting!

Happy Birthday Grandma (Mum)!
