Life... with only four letters in the alphabets, speaks volumes to many different individuals. As for us, life is what God has given and what we make out of it in obedience to Jesus Christ! So live life to the full... life is indeed exciting!

Tioman, O Tioman

During the school hols, we took a short break to visit the ever famous Pulau Tioman on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. We took a flight from Subang airport and an hour later, arrived on the little island on the South China Sea. What greeted us was the breath taking crystal clear waters that surrounded the island. It was a beautiful morning when we landed on the island.

Since we were on the Berjaya holidays, a shuttle took us from the airport straight to the resort. It was a nice resort with a huge compound. We had to wait for quite awhile before our room was available as the check-in time is 12pm onwards. Anyway, the kids headed straight to the swimming pool upon arrival at the resort. They had a blast. The beach was also nice too with slightly coarse sand.

During our trip there, we went to a nearby island where it is famous for snorkeling (actually snorkeling is like the main activity at Tioman!). We didn't snorkel though but took a clear bottom boat ride instead. We could see the corals and sea life whilst not getting ourselves wet. The pilot for our boat dived into the sea and took a sea cucumber out to show us. It was soft and slimy! This is not a plant (despite its name) but an animal.

They also caught a little clown fish. Don't worry, all these were returned back to the sea to their homes. The kids were thrilled with all these sea creatures.

The three days spent at the resort was mainly by the beach and pool. Food was good. Well, for me, I had a very bad sore throat throughout the trip. So food for me was so-so. :( Never mind, the rest of the family enjoyed themselves.

Here are some shots I took with my camera. Enjoy.
