Beauty & The Beast - The Musical from Disney

The two adults had their moment when we went to watch the musical - Beauty and the Beast. It was held at the nice auditorium of the KL Convention Centre. We were looking forward to the show to see the props (since it is Disney), enjoy the singing and immerse ourselves with the ever popular songs of Beauty and the Beast. The show was supposed to start at 8:00pm but due to some technical difficulties, the curtains only lifted about 40 minutes later.

Overall, it was only so-so. Nothing to shout about. Props were nice but somehow, the magic was not quite there. We were surprised that there were parents bringing their kids for the night show. The musical only ended at 11:00pm. There was a really long intermission of 30 mins in between. At least we have watched it.... to see it a second time? I don't think so...

Princess Party

A few weeks back, Jess was invited to a birthday party where the theme was Princesses. It was a rather interesting party in that all the invitees (girls only) assembled in a little beauty saloon before proceeding to the banquet table. In this saloon, Jess had her hair done up, make-up (!) and pedicure (!).
