Life... with only four letters in the alphabets, speaks volumes to many different individuals. As for us, life is what God has given and what we make out of it in obedience to Jesus Christ! So live life to the full... life is indeed exciting!

A Concert

Last Saturday, Joshua and Amanda's school had a concert cum graduation day .. the graduation day was for the older kids (6-year old). We were all very impressed by our son's dance entitled "Scottish March" where he was all dressed up in a 'scottish' way (see the pics). He looked so cute! He has been practising this dance with Mummy at home but it was only during the concert that we saw how grand the dance was!

(They gelled up his hair and put a little make-up on him!)

Amanda on the other hand did the twist. Most entertaining as they have such diverse movements! Remember these are 5 year olds! It was really hard work and all the teachers who helped the kids danced did very well! Remember these are not dance teachers!

I think all parents who were there felt very happy and satisfied with their children's performance. Oh, on top of the performance, Joshua was also awarded the Best Improvement Award for his class. Hallelujah!

Well done Josh and Amanda!
And 'kudos' to the teachers too!

Well, apparently you could try to increase your shots to 800 or 1600. And probably you could set your camera to "P-Mode". And if you really have the time to edit pictures, try and shoot all your Pictures in RAW format.. Apparently you can do wonders with Photoshop or the software that came along with the camera.

As for the lens, I've still yet to see which is good.. There have been a lot of suggestions but the cost is as much as getting another 400D. Lol..

As for the underexposure problem, canon could get it fixed. That's what I read from one of the forums, but when I tried to send it to the Canon here in Kuching, apparently they said that it's common one.. So not sure if KL one could do any better.. Anyway, you might want to visit this site

photomalaysia.com. Very good site with tons of information. Gives you tips as well on how to improve your shootings :) Keep on posting more pics.... Anyway, here are two of my recent works with the 400D

Haven't tried with RAW yet.. So most likely will start shooting RAW soon :)
