Someone turned 5!

On 8-June 2007, one of the Yongs turned five. Yup, it was Josh's birthday yesterday but we celebrated it on a Saturday (9-June) instead. This was to enable Mummy and Daddy to better prepare for the birthday party. We had Josh and Jess' cousins over with their family for the celebration.

Josh enjoyed the night; albeit screaming and some 'fighting' among sibling and cousins! This is a five year old party-la. Josh had a dinosaur cake which he picked himself on Monday night. It was a very nice vanilla sponge cake with peaches in it. It was nice. Still have about a quarter left in the fridge, but it will disappear pretty fast I reckon. The kids loved the cake although Jess was too excited to eat the cake.

A very funny thing happened tonight. Whilst Josh was waiting to blow out the candles on his cake, Jess stood at the side and blew it all out before Josh could get a chance! Ha ha ha! Anyway, we lit the candles again and Josh blew it out this time!

Besides the usual presents, Daddy bought two angel fish for Josh (actually one was for Jess... just in case she started asking why only one fish!). It is like a special and unique birthday gift for Josh (and Jess)... hopefully something which he will remember. Ok, it's not a pony but who can keep a pony in a terrace house in KL! ;p
