Favourite Lunch Places in KL

After being in KL for more than half a year now, we have found two 'excellent' eating places that ALL of us like. This is for lunch. Both places offer rather limited menu but what they have, we are happy.

Little Penang Cafe @ Suria KLCC




















This cafe is famous for its Penag food (of course!). Its motto says it all (see above). We like their Penang Fried Kuay Teow, Lam Mee, Rojak, lunch plates (variety of nice Peranakan food choices with rice) and their Ice cold Sian Chow (grass jelly). I'm salivating now! Yummy... no wonder I have put on weight! :(

One of the reason why we like this cafe is because it is at Suria KLCC. So after shopping at Isetan, eat lo. :D And then shop some more!




















Old Town White Coffee @ Jalan Ampang



















Now this outlet opened about a month plus ago. It has an excellent setting along a busy Jalan Ampang. It is not crowded and it is airy and cool. Great layout! Nice place to get away from the heat actually. Furthermore, we live in Ampang so this place is a stone's throw away. This chain of shops in KL is suppose to hail from Ipoh, where it is famous for that.

We like the Rendang Chicken Rice, Ho Fun, Xi Mut tea (ice tea in ideal milk), toast slices in kaya or ice cream, prawn mee, ice lemon tea, lemon tea and lots more. Again.. salivating here!







































And one thing we like about these places is.... the clean toilets! Ha ha ha. Very important when you have kids!
